Project Manager
Ashley is a lifelong Iowa resident who has dedicated her career to serving Iowans through roles in both the public and nonprofit sectors. As a public health practitioner, she is committed to advancing evidence-based, community-informed strategies that address the social and structural factors influencing health and well-being.
Most recently, Ashley served as Senior Project Coordinator for UpLift, the Central Iowa Basic Income Pilot, at The Harkin Institute for Public Policy and Citizen Engagement. In this role, she facilitated community engagement on issues related to basic needs and led implementation efforts for the pilot's research study, helping bridge community perspectives with evidence-driven policy and practice. She has also managed the Iowa Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection program and coordinated the development and implementation of the Title V Community-Based Doula Project at the Iowa Department of Public Health.
Ashley has a bachelor’s degree in Child, Adult, and Family Services from Iowa State University and a master’s degree in public health from Des Moines University
