Kelly is a Managing Director at Principal Global Advisors (PGA), a client market segment within Principal Global Investors that delivers customized investment solutions, outsourced CIO and relationship management services to clients. She is responsible for the enterprise fiduciary risk in terms of business and client activities. This includes oversight of client investment analytics and risk, governance, vehicle structures, client retention growth, manager research and business support, as well as strategic development. In addition, Kelly chairs the PGA Investment Committee which provides oversight of the investments used in OCIO client portfolios. She joined Principal in 1991 and has been in the investment industry since 1999. Previously, Kelly held several leadership roles in Principal Global Investors including asset allocation, structured product development, and stable value investments. She started at Principal as an actuarial assistant and held various other actuarial positions in pricing and product development. Kelly received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science from the University of Northern Iowa and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Kelly serves as Mid-Iowa Health Foundation’s Investment Committee Chair and is a member of the Audit Committee.
