President of The Jacobs Group, LLC and former Mid-Iowa Health Foundation board member
Libby joined the Board in 2011 and, in addition to serving as Chair, serves on the Grant and Governance Committees. She is President of The Jacobs Group, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in strategic planning, board development, community outreach, and fund development. In May 2011, Libby was appointed by Governor Branstad to the Iowa Utilities Board and served until 2017. She served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 1994 to 2008 and as Majority Whip from 1999-2006. In addition to her professional work, Libby has a long record of community and board service. Her current community involvement includes: Blank Children’s Hospital Governing Board, Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau Board, and the University of Nebraska Alumni Association Advisory Council.
