Founded in 2013 with support from Mid-Iowa Health Foundation and coordinated by Community Youth Concepts, uVoice: Youth Philanthropy Board is a group of up to 15 Polk County high school students who work together to identify public health issues facing youth in Greater Des Moines and to address those issues through grant making and service learning. Mid-Iowa Health Foundation funds this initiative each year.
